Why while playing any game 20-30 minutes in it freezes then the whole pc shuts down. I bought two of these one for me and my husband and his is having problems with just shutting down and mine is fine what could be the issue

There are a number of reasons for this behavior when gaming on gaming desktops, but the most common are overheating (CPU/GPU), and GPU driver or hardware issue. To iron out the later, we recommend searching for the latest drivers via Legion Space on your husband's PC or you can go to NVIDIA's site directly. After updating the graphics drivers, if the issue persists, please monitor if the issue only happens when gaming. If this is the case, to rule out overheating, we recommend monitoring CPU and GPU temps and if either get at or above 90 degrees Celsius when gaming before the shutdown, this may be the root of the issue. If the system's overheating, check each fan to ensure it's running when the PC is on.

If you have a desire to do so, please consider enabling battery preservation features like battery threshold in Lenovo Vantage / Legion Space. This allows you to set when the battery will start and stop charging within a certain range to help prevent an accelerated decrease in battery health if plugged in constantly, as the battery cells were meant to be charged and depleted, not consistently charged.

This IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is designed to be robust, made with a plastic material. Also, Best Buy does not currently offer a 128GB configuration of this IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook, but rather a version with identical specs, just with a touchscreen display.

Why does the pc not start up when I press the power button until I unplug it, hold power button for 30-60 sec, and plug it back in then it starts. I had to do this everytime to start it up and I only had it for 1 day, its very frustrating.
