What's the limit for increasing storage how much can we expand in the HDD slot and how much in the m.2 SSD slot individually?

Question: does this Chromebook contain Lead? I want to purchase it from my 4 year old grandson. Is it safe for a child to use?

Lead is used in the solder that is used to connect the internal parts of both the Lenovo Chromebook 3 11 and the AC adapter/charger that ships with the Chromebook 3 11. As long as the Chromebook back panel is not removed, exposing the internals or the AC adapter taken apart, the user will not come in direct contact with any lead based products.

Is this monitor compatible with Windows 8.1? I've got an HDMI to VGA cable, and a HDMI to DVI cable. The VGA cable isn't recognized. The DVI cable recognizes the monitor, but speakers do not work. Drivers are up to date. Nothing recognizes speakers.

The audio can be carried over DVI to HDMI cable depending on the graphics card within the computer you are connecting to. For newer GPUs, you just need to set the HDMI audio device in the Windows Sound control panel. Older GPUs need to use a digital audio S/PDIF cable to connect from the PC to the graphics board's on board S/PDIF connector. Please contact your graphics board manufacturer if you have questions on supporting HDMI audio over DVI. If your computer GPU does not support audio through DVI, connect your computer's 3.5mm audio jack to the monitor's 3.5mm audio jack. No. This is a Chromebook. The Lenovo Chromebook 3 14 model number 82KN0000US, ships with the Chrome Operating System and is compatible with Google Play Store APPs. It is not a Windows Product.
