how difficult is it to get it to work like a regular clock radio and have the alarm go on with a radio station? is this possible?

Can one set the alarm to escalate in loudness, i.e., start out soft and increase in volume?

What is the maximum power consumption? Is there a sleep power state? What is that power consumption?

Hi Scott, Thanks for your question! The Lenovo Smart Clock uses up to 2W when in use. When not in use, the power consumption is 0.5W, which is like a living room light. The clock has an Auto Dim feature and can adjust to the ambient light in the room. You can also turn the screen completely off by saying “Ok Google turn off my screen.”.

Exactly how loud is the radio or the alarm? I am a heavy sleeper whom has also suffered some hearing loss. I need a very loud alarm/speaker.
