I'm a bit confused by the solid state disk bit. What are its advantages/disadvantages?? Lee

Hi Lee. Solid state drives or SSD have a couple of advantages. They allow for faster load and boot times. They also do not have moving parts so they are less likely to fail. A disadvantage would be that they cost more than a traditional HDD. No. The Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 11 is not compatible with any active/digital pen.

Q: Can I add extra storage RAM? A: This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all the work, to not void the warranty So, can you please confirm that RAM can be extended by technician and what is the max RAM size supported?

No, the RAM is not upgradeable within the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 11. The 4GB RAM is soldered to the motherboard and there are no additional RAM slots within this configuration.
