New laptop, switched out of S mode successfully, downloaded chrome successfully but when I'm surfing the internet, with chrome or edge it runs very slow. Any reason why it's doing this? My internet connection is fine. My old laptop runs faster than this.

There should be no slowdown when you switch out of S-Mode. I haves Lenovo ideapad 330s. Do I need a different power cord to use an iogear usb-c docking station? The instructions say to plug in the computer’s usb-c power adapter but I don’t recall it coming with one. Can you purchase one separately?

You should use the power cord that comes with your computer or a compatible replacement AC adapter/charger.
