I don't have or want Google assistant, if I turn the mic off as well can I still: 1) See the current weather information 2) Use the alarm clock 3) Use my music as an alram 4) Will the alarm clock sync and keep time via NIST (or something like that)

Hello and thank you for your questions. The Google Assistant comes with your Lenovo Smart Clock. If you choose to mute the mic and not utilize the assistant you can 1) See current weather conditions as your clock face by swiping left on the touch screen. 2) Set alarms and change alarm settings with the touch screen by swiping down, turn off alarm by selecting the corresponding option on the touch screen, and you may snooze the alarm by tapping on top of the device. 3) Currently the only way to set music as your alarm is by using the voice assistant. 4) The alarm will always sync time by utilizing your WiFi network as it is an always on device. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. We recommend you check with the software publisher's web sites of the software you will need to use, for their compatibility with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.
