Is the fan supposed to be so loud? I play World of Warcraft and even on 5-7 settings the fan sounds like it's lifting off. I even turned it to quiet mode in Vantage and it's still LOUD. Also, if I bought a cooling pad, would that lower the fan noise?

I know this is kind of opinion, but is this generally slow?

I see the HDMI port on it, will I be able to input things onto the laptop screen or can I only output the laptop video onto other monitors?

The HDMI port on this model is out only. You can only connect to an external monitor. You can not display content from an external source to the computer screen.
