How do you switch out of S-Mode?? I realize this is not about the laptop itself but I purchased this so my daughter could do learning activities this summer and she is not able to download one single learning game because of S-Mode? Please help!!

Is the 12GB RAM soldered to the motherboard along with an empty slot ? The spec says upgradable to 16GB, I'm assuming that I can add 16GB to the empty slot, so 12GB + 16GB = 28GB ?

This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. The maximum RAM this configuration, model number 81JS005BUS, can support is 16GB.
