What RAM do I need to buy to add more memory? Can you give me the RAM number I need?

The Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 laptop, model number 81N3009BUS, model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. We recommend you consult your certified technician for your upgrade options.

Before I buy, just so I'm clear. I can run downloaded windows programs as long as I'm not in S mode. Correct? Is it possible to go back to S mode? I'm thinking not.

No, you can not go back to S-Mode once you switch out of S-Mode to Windows 10 Home. Once you switch out of S-Mode, you can install programs that are not in the Microsoft Store, but compatible still with Windows 10 after you switch out of S-Mode. Be sure the Windows programs you want to install are compatible with Windows 10 and this computer's specific configuration.
