Can you upgrade the memory from 8 gig to 12 or higher

The Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15 laptop is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. This configuration ships with 4GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard. There is another 4GB of RAM within the one RAM memory slot with this configuration. Your certified technician can remove the 4GB RAM stick in the RAM memory slot and replace it with an 8GB RAM stick for a system total RAM of 12GB.
