This is a Chromebook. It uses the Chrome Operating System. Whether this Chromebook will meet your computing needs will depend on the APPs you need to use to do your work. We recommend you check with the streaming services you want to use and the specific software publisher's web sites you will need to use, for their compatibility with the Chrome operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. The Chrome Browser is not available through the Microsoft Store, so you would need to switch to the Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System before you could install the Chrome Browser.

Yes it does. Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System is pre-installed. You will need to activate the factory install of Windows upon initial setup. This will allow any new updates to be installed. There will be audio and onscreen step-by-step instructions for the Windows setup and activation.

Thank will depend on the content on the page the "tab" represents. It's not the number of open tabs but the amount of data those tabs contain. The Lenovo IdeaCentre A340-22 All-In-One system is an entry level, light use system with its Intel Pentium processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for Microsoft Office and light internet browsing.
