Is this computer good for video editing ?

It really depends on the requirements and compatibility of the editing software you will be using. The Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15 laptop is an entry level, light use system with its Intel Pentium processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for Microsoft Office and light internet browsing. We recommend you check with the editing software publisher's web site for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

New Lenove 330-15 battery shows it being charged only 95%, even when plugged in all the time. There are 3 processes working which it says affects 5% of battery life, but why should it affect battery life if the laptop in plugged in?

You can leave the computer plugged in all the time. The Battery Saver Software on the computer stops charging once the battery achieves 100% of charge. The battery will be allow to discharge to a preset level, then start charging again.
