I recently purchased the Lenovo - Yoga 920 and I see the processor speed is 1.8Ghz (base) does that mean the speed can increase? Importantly does this laptop have Turbo Boost?

Does it play CDs and DVDs as well as burn?

Yes, this model has a CD/DVD-RW drive built in. You can create your own CDs and DVDs and access the files, but to play commercial CDs and/or DVDs you will need to add Media Player software that is not included with Windows 10 operating system.

I see that BB site shows 2 different models; one priced at $949 & the other at $1K+. The more costly one says that it is LTE capable but according to the reviews it is not. I also see that it says/appears to have an actual physical keyboard...is this true

There is a type error on the Best Buy site and the two models are not currently LTE. With the press of a button, the E-Ink screen is your keyboard, notepad, and e-reader. When in keyboard mode there is tactile feedback to the keys when pressed, it is not an actual physical keyboard, but very close.

If the power goes out, or if you unplug to move the unit to a different location, does the unit reset and you need to recostomize your settings?

No, the Lenovo Smart Display will not need to be re-set up if unplugged and moved.

This configuration uses DDR4-1688MHz RAM. This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. There is one memory slot within this device. The maximum RAM is can support is 8GB, so your certified technician can replace the existing 4GB stick of RAM for an 8GB RAM stick.

I see there is no built in CD drive, how will I download programs that are on disc?

You can use an external CD/DVD drive with this device, just plug the drive into a USB port on the computer. Also most software available on disc is also available at the publisher's web site for direct download.
