I think that this computer would be perfect for my Mom. Just one question. How would she transfer her existing applications to the new computer without having access to the internet? She does not subscribe to the internet and I did not notice a drive.

can the integrated graphics card be upgraded? can it be setup to run on discrete graphics cards?

No. This system is not configured for a discrete graphics card.

I need to have 3 to 4 Google maps screens open at the same time while routing out my stops for the day will this computer handle that without lagging also with 2 to 4 apps running at the same time will there be any lag.

No. This is an entry level, light use system with its Intel Celeron processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking.

Is there a big difference between UHD and HD when working on videos. Especially when the videos are 4K as well

HD, equals resolution of 1,920 by 1,080, while UHD quadruples that resolution to 3,840 by 2,160.
