It would have to be compatible with the traditional 3.5" hard drive currently within the system. Check the connectors on the existing device and match the replacement. This device comes with a 180W power supply.

how do you change between pc mode and monitor mode when using the hdmi port? (without unplugging the hdmi cord)
There is both an HDMI-In port (sending a signal to the device screen, like connecting an Xbox to this device and using the device screen) and an HDMI-Out port (send a signal out to an external monitor). Once you have the external device connected to the proper HDMI port, right click on the Windows 10 desktop. Select "Display Settings". Select the screen or source input you want.
