Would this laptop be good for online schooling ?

That will depend on the programs you will be using. This is an entry level, light use system. It comes with a 1-year free subscription to Microsoft Office 365, so it can handle basic Office projects, light browsing of the internet. If this is the type of work you will be doing, then this system will be a good choice.
