The system uses the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges headset, and the phone is a major component of the system. That is where the game audio and video are generated.

Can you use a different VR headset, or do you need this specific headset that comes with it for the game.

Anyone can download the app, but users will require the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges headset to play the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges games.

I didn't notice any earbuds of headphones in the demos? Does this thing have sound?

Yes, it has great sound quality. The Speakers are built into the headset. Since the Star Wars :Jedi Challenges headset needs to be compatible with over 15 devices, we chose to allow the user to plug their headphones directly into the smartphone itself as well.

is the LG G5 compatible? and will the headset and possibly locator be able to use other Enhanced Reality apps available on Android app stores

The LG G5 is not currently compatible. The Star Wars: Jedi Challenges headset is only compatible with the "Star Wars Jedi Challenges" at this time.Only certain phones have been tested and are compatible with the device. We are in the process of testing and approving other phones. Please keep checking @ jedichallenges.com/compatibility for update. As this is app based, updated experiences and game modes will be available.
