Has anyone had any power issues, where the power button won't turn on the laptop even though it was recently on and charged and plugged in? Where it takes an unusually long time for it to turn on?

This sounds like it may be a driver update issue. You can follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for driver updates for your specific system. Be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes or download new software. Once you have corrected the issue, create another restore point after the fix:

Does it have talk-to-type capability?

That would be a function of software. There is no Talk-To-Type software installed but as long as the software you choose is compatible with Windows 10, the Yoga 710-11 would be able to handle it.

Being in the tablet mode should not effect the functionality of a program like PhotoShop on this device. Check with the Photoshop software publisher for the specifics of the minimum/recommended requirements to run PhotoShop.
