Hello! So I am going to upgrade the ram and storage on this laptop when I get it but I want to know, what type of SSD and ram does it use and what do you recommend?

Hi, Flower. This LOQ uses DDR5-4800 memory, and you can use up to 32GB DDR5-4800 (may support more as the AMD CPU supports up to 64GB DDR5-4800). It also features two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots, leaving an available slot open for expansion. As far as what we'd recommend, you can use whatever you prefer that is compatible with the system.

In the title a 2k screen is listed but the specs show 1920x1200, which is definitely not 2k. Which does this have?

Hi there, thank you for your question. This model does feature a display with 1920x1200 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. For context as to why it is advertised as 2K -- 2K resolution is one of multiple high-definition image resolution standards. The primary difference is that 2K resolution can refer to more than one image size. For this reason, 2K is generally accepted as an umbrella term. It is typically used when referring to the motion picture industry, as many films are projected at this standard. These resolutions are defined by the Digital Cinema Initiatives, or DCI, a governing body comprised of major motion picture studios. The 1920x1200 resolution is considered as 2K as the horizontal resolution (number of pixels across the display) meet the parameters to fall under the 2K umbrella.
