Is the memory a single 8GB card or 2X4GB?

It has one 8GB card. Maximum RAM is 16GB.

Steps to view USB flash-drive photos on Lenovo Ideapad and then safely remove & use flash-drive again

Just plug in the flash drive in to the USB port on the system. Give the system time to recognize the drive. A window should pop up telling you a "new device is found, scanning". Once the proper drivers are found within Windows 10, a new pop up will open and say "device now ready". If the pop ups don't show up within 30 seconds, go to My PC look for the new drive double click on the external drive. You should see the files on the drive. Double click on the file you want to open. As log as the picture format you are using is compatible with Windows 10, the file should open. If it doesn't open, you may need to load software to the computer to view the picture. Close all open files. In My PC right click on the external drive. A window will open. Click on eject. You can now remove the drive.

This is an extremely powerful and versatile system. It is great for gaming or other high performance work like photo or video editing. You can even run some CAD programs with this system. My SPECS show a full HD 15.6" IPS 1920 x 1080 screen, with anti-glare coating.

Yes, this system has a hybrid hard drive with 1TB of tradition disk hard drive storage space and 8GB of Cache memory solid state space for the operating system. This insures fast startup from off or sleep mode. The Cache memory is not accessible for any storage other than the operating system.
