Just curious before I purchase this. I have read on other web sites that the lenovo yoga 720 has an edge to edge screen but I am not seeing it listed on the Best Buy website. Does anyone know if it has edge to edge or not. Thank you.

There is a very thin bezel (edge) along the outside boarders of this device. The screen is not glass edge to edge.

Please would u be so kind to tell me that the thunderbolt 3 port is PCIe 4 lane or 2 lane connection and even if it is 2 lane is it compatible with egpu with a data transfer rate of 32 gb?

The Thunderbolt port on this device is a 2 lane version. As to supporting an external GPU, that will depend on the requirements of the GPU. We recommend you check with the manufacturer of the eGPU for their requirements.

No, there is no dock for this system. You can use a universal port replicator with this device to accomplish much the same thing.

I want to hook up a monitor to the laptop for dual display. Can I do that? My monitor currently connects via display port. Is there an adapter that's compatible if this laptop doesn't have one?

This device has a Thunderbolt 3.1 port for video out. You can hook up an external monitor to this port, you would need a Thunderbolt 3.1 to DisplayPort adapter to do this.
