Check your WiFi settings to make sure it is turned on. Windows getting ready means it is updating Windows settings. Be sure you set the initial Windows settings up right. Finally, there may be driver updates for network WiFi for your system. You can follow the link to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for network WiFi driver updates for your specific system.
