I heard from a lot of people that there is an issue with the fan, being super loud even when its not running big tasks (CUP <30%). Is this true?

This is a high performance system. The fan will run to keep the system cool. We do not believe the fan is inordinately loud, given the power of the system. We recommend you try the system yourself. Either stop by a Best Buy store that has a display model for you to listen to, or order the product try it yourself. Best Buy has a 15 day return policy of any undamaged product with your receipt.
