Sensitivity of the touchpad can be adjusted within system settings. We recommend you try the system for yourself. Visit your local Best Buy Store and give the system a try yourself. We recommend you call you store before you go, just to be sure this model is in stock and on display.

Yes, the model number denotes different manufacturing runs for the same product configuration. Since it's the same product, the UPC stays the same.

This system has only one video out port (HDMI-Out). It will work with the lid shut if you turn off the "What This System Does When The Lid Is Closed" in the control panel.

That will depend on the type of work they are doing in school. This is an entry level model. No, this model only comes with an English keyboard.

I understand the processor is dual core and NOT quad core because of the "U" designation in the number (i5-6200U), but what is the clock speed of the laptop in Ghz?

Actually the Core I-5 6200U is a dual core, 4-thread processor, so even though it is not quad core it performs as a quad core processor. The processor Base Frequency is 2.30 GHz and the turbo-boast
Max Turbo Frequency is 2.80 GHz.
