Yes, this is a Best Buy exclusive model. There are differences due to the 7th generation processor, the fingerprint scanner, better battery life. This is the update of the earlier model.

Is this a good laptop for just basic use like emails, social media and YouTube videos?

Yes, this system would be able to handle light use work as you describe. There may be some buffering with YouTube videos.
