can the 4gb ram and 500gb harddrive be upgraded? ssd?

A certified technician can upgrade the RAM (maximum on this system is 16GB) and the hard drive on this system. The work must be done by a certified technician or the warranty may be voided.

I see its 3 cell base and 3 cell display battery as per specs. So basically, 6 cell 53whr. Is there a way to add external battery as in t460. Want to check if 72 whr battery can be applied just as customizing for battery for t460 on lenovo site.
