Is anyone else experiencing a warm spot on the right side of the laptop on the bottom between the volume buttons and the USB port? It is noticeably hotter than everywhere else on the laptop and continues to be warm even when the laptop is in sleep.

This is the location of the motherboard and processor, they are the main source of heat within the system and would be expected to be warmer than any other part of the computer. It will remain warm while asleep because even though the computer is at "sleep" the processor and motherboard remain on at minimum power.
