Is the fan "noise" normal? I notice there are always sounds from the fan whenever the laptop is on. Or it is just not that quiet?
Fan noise is normal. The fan shouldn't be running all the time though. Be sure you are not covering the vents on the laptop. Also here is a link to a tips/tricks article on fixing a noisy laptop top fan:
