I went to a store today and the associate told me this model had some type of system similar to a chromebook and I couldn't download programs unless it was in the store included with the computer. Has anyone else heard of this?

Hi, Annie. We apologize for any confusion. This model IdeaPad does not come with Windows 11 Home in S mode, but rather standard Windows 11 Home. You should not have any issues downloading and running programs compatible with Windows 11 and the system specifications of this IdeaPad.

What is the chassis made of? I've read both aluminum and plastic, possibly because different varieties of this model are made of different materials. Or possibly it's a mix of both. I would like to know which one this particular model is made of.
