I will purchase this yoga 14 any day. The stock 256 SSD is too small and I'd like to upgrade it to a 500 gb SSD. Is the NVMe SSD compatible with this machine and if so can you recommend a suitable no worries SSD upgrade path? Thank you.
This system is not upgradable by the user. Any work on this device must be performed by a certified technician or the warranty may become void. There is a full-size SD Card Slot on this device that will allow you to easily add up to 512GB of additional solid state storage to the device. This would not be suitable for storing software programs though as most commercial software programs must be loaded on the internal "C" drive.

I am replacing my Lenovo that my hubby dropped ;( we liked the yoga except the soft touch keypad...most in my house found it frustrating to type and work on compared to our Mac laptops. Wondering if anyone knows if this keypad is better than the yoga?

We recommend you try it out in person at your nearest Best Buy Store, but if that is not possible, remember that Best Buy gives you 15 days to try out the ThinkPad Yoga in your "real world" environment. If not pleased, you can return any undamaged merchandise, with your receipt, for a refund.

We will pass this request along. This specific test has not been performed yet, but we do know that IRIS Graphics compared to last year's integrated graphics processing will provide these measured improvements: 6% improvement on performance, 20% - 30% improvement on 3D gaming and other video intensive applications. But, a discrete graphics card, with dedicated RAM on the GPU will always provide better graphics processing. If you like the cutting edge styling of the Yoga 900-13, we recommend you check with the game software publisher for their minimum/recommended requirements to run their games at the settings you prefer, then compare those requirements to the Yoga 900-13 with Core I-7-Iris Graphics capabilities. One other thing to keep in mind is Best Buy's great return policy. You have 15-days to try the device out in your "real world" situation, see if it works for you. If it doesn't, bring it back, undamaged, with your receipt!

The 710-Series are the new 2016 updates of the Yoga 700-Series laptops. The Yoga 710-11 only comes with the Pentium processor this year. There is a Yoga 710-14" with a Core I-5 processor and a Yoga 710-15" with a Core I-7 processor.

I bought an open box Yoga 710 14 inch. Everything was great but the fan came on all the time while web browsing, watching movie or even sometimes when idle. Does this happen to others as well or did I get a dud?
The fan coming on is a good thing, especially when the processor is working hard. You can follow the link below to Lenovo.com support-drivers and look for driver updates for Power Management" for your specific system, if the fan continues to run even when the system is idle. Be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes, then create a new restore point once the issue is fixed. Here's the link:
