Why the touchpad did not work? I had to use a wireless mouse.

Does it have a word processor loaded on the computer

There is NotePad and WordPad loaded as part of Windows 10. There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office Software installed as part of Windows 10 Home. In order to keep the Microsoft Office software active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key.

OK does windows 10 home does not have windows media player? for me to play a movie from a commercial DVD or if I have an external Hard Drive where I have a number of movies recorded. Thanks

You are correct. There is no pre-installed media player on Windows 10 Home. You can buy Microsoft's media player or a third-party player, then you will be able to play commercial DVD movies on your computer.

Can you connect a wireless KB and Mouse to it? and what would you need for it?

Yes you can. You will need the USB receiver that comes with the keyboard and mouse to plug in to the IdeaCentre 300s and the drivers will need to be installed that will come with the keyboard and mouse on to the computer.

This is am entry level system that is good for light use. It will be good for Microsoft Office projects, research on the internet and email.
