The different colors for the USB ports denote the type of USB port it is:
Yellow: Power port
Blue: USB 3.0 that is backward compatible to earlier versions (2.0 and 1.0)
Black: USB 2.0

There is a CD/DVD reader-writer on this device. But to play a commercial movie DVD, you need Media Player software that is not included with Windows 10 Home Edition. You will need to purchase a 3rd-party Media Player software. Microsoft does make on and you can purchase it through the Windows Store.

Is there a model similar to this with a numeric keypad? This laptop has all the features I'm looking for in a laptop, minus the numeric keypad. I would expect one on a 15.6 inch laptop.

Lenovo 15.6 intel celeron have an built in cd and video player
