The 256GB hard drive in this system is solid state, much faster than standard disk type hard drives. This makes the system operate faster.

All work on this system must be performed by a certified technician or the warranty may become void. The RAM in this system is DDR3L @ 1600Mhz. The Certified technician will replace the RAM with DDR3L, if you choose to replace it.

Only if the content was 4k. You need to send a signal that is 4K, but yes it would send a 4K signal to the TV monitor if the content was recorded as 4K.

I am concerned that with a 4K ultra HD monitor applications whose content does not utilize this feature will appear differently on the screen. And what about videos, movies? It seems this technology has not caught on in the majority of applications.

This system is backward compatible to lower resolution content. You will be able to view lower resolution content on this system without any issue.
