Does docking to use full keyboard and larger monitor work?

I heard about some issues with this machine - can you confirm it will work correctly with decent quality display on external monitor. I am interested in single larger monitor solution for those times where sitting at a desk with a large display is more comfortable.

The Lenovo Yoga 2 11.6" touch screen laptop in question does not have backlog keyboard. The Lenovo Yoga 2 - 13" and Yoga 2 Pro models DO have the backlit keyboard.
