How do you access the phone book?

Hi - You can press the DIR/VOL up button on one of the cordless handsets of the VTech IS8151-4 to access the phonebook list. You can also press the up button on the telephone base to review the phonebook entries.

Can I use one handset to help find another missing set, like causing the missing handset to ring?

Willy - The telephone base of the VTech IS8151-4 has a handset locator at the telephone base to locate a missing handset. You can also use the intercom feature from one of the handsets if you know the number assigned on the missing handset. Please note that features will work only if the missing handset is within base range and has enough battery life.

Martha - The VTech SN5307 is an expansion handset only that requires registration to a telephone base model SN5147 or SN5127. The Photo Dial handset does not have a dial keypad. Instead, it has 4 speed dial keys which are entries saved in the SN5127 or SN5147 telephone base.

Hi - The talk back feature on the VTech DM221-2 will only engage when you press and hold the TALK button on the parent unit. The only sound that will be heard continuously is the one from the baby unit.
