How do I delete direct memory phone numbers?

Hi - Here's how you can delete a speed dial/memory numbers on the VTech SN5147.

1. Press MENU on the cordless handset in idle mode to enter the main menu.
2. Press the arrow down button to scroll to Direct memory, then press SELECT.
3. Press the arrow down button to scroll to M1, M2, M3, or M4. When the desired entry displays, press SELECT.
4. Press the arrow down button to scroll to DELETE, then press SELECT. The handset displays Confirm?
5. Press SELECT to confirm.

Calls are only coming to line 1, and when the line is in use, the caller gets a busy signal. No option to leave a voicemail, the phone just hangs up on them. I tried to set up the lines to go to general mailbox but it is still giving a busy signal?

Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech CM18445. The built in answering system of the unit is not capable of picking up if the line is already in use. You can subscribe to a Voicemail service from your telephone service provider to serve as a back up when the line is in use. You just need to make sure that the Voicemail is setup to only pick up the call if the line is already on a call.

Can I shut off the power saving mode??? I want the screen to stay on at all times

Hi - Yes, you can turn off the auto wake up feature of the VTech RM5764HD for the screen display not to go off even when there is no activity on the baby unit.

We have the Vtech CM18445 Small business system. A couple weeks ago the answering system suddenly stopped working, and calls are rolled from line one to line two and then to line three, but never answered. I cannot figure out how to fix this.

We have three extension phones throughout our church now and a base and ONE phone number. Do we need a different phone or will this one and three extensions work as a replacement for our current system?

You can hook this phone up to replace your old phones if you have a regular landline service. The telephone base can register up 9 devices (CM18245 or CM18045).
