How to use FLASH function on CM18045 handset? Can I use music on hold for on FLASH hold caller?

Robert - The FLASH softkey on the VTech CM18045 can be used to answer call waiting call. Regretfully, the hold music will not play when the current call is put on hold to answer the call waiting call. The hold music on the telephone system will only work on calls that is put on hold by pressing the HOLD button.

Is this phone compatible with my existing AT&T Dect 6.0 EL52309 system?

Donn - The VTech CS6114 can be installed on the same line where your existing unit is plugged in. You need to also install the telephone base on a telephone wall jack or modem. They will work as extension phones but features are not shared.

Hi - The VTech IS8151-5 is a plug and play basic cordless phone system. It comes with a built in answering machine and can display Caller ID information as long as you are subscribed to the service from your telephone service provider. The telephone system will still work even without using the added features such as intercom. How do you save the phone numbers for each of the picture buttons from the large wired phone when there is no menu button?

Hi - You can use the cordless handset of the VTech SN5147 to store numbers in the speed dial locations on the telephone base.

1. Press Menu/Select button on the cordless handset.
2. Press the arrow down to scroll to Direct memory, then press Menu/Select.
3. Press the arrow down to scroll through M1-M8, then press Menu/Select twice.
4. Use the dial keypad to enter the phone number, then press Menu/Select.
5. Use the dial keypad to enter the name, then press the Menu/Select to save the entry.
