How do you replace battery in doorbell unit?
Doozi - You would need to remove the screw located at the bottom of the VTech IS741 Doorbell and then insert a flat-bladed screwdriver between the doorbell and its wall mount cover to pry open at both sides. This cordless phone with handset and base speakerphones give you the freedom to enjoy hands-free conversation. And with a 50 name-and-number directory, you can enjoy that freedom with a lot of people.
Does the phone have the ability for the answering machine to kick on when I am using the phone as it is not working on mine.
Doreen - The built-in Answering System of the VTech DS6151 does not have the capability to answer call waiting. If you are using only one line, you may subscribe to Voicemail service with your telephone company so callers have an option to leave a message if you are using the phone. If you have two lines connected to the VTech phone, you may subscribe to Rollover Service with your provider so the 2nd call will rollover to the 2nd line and the built-in answering system on L2 can pick up the call if you are engage on a call on L1. If the Block List is full will the oldest entry be automatically deleted to make room for a new entry or do you have to manually delete an entry to make room?
Hi - In order to add a new entry in the Block List of the VTech IS8151-5, you would need to manually delete an old entry. You can add up to 1000 names and phone number in the block list. Thank you! - VTech Support

I just got the Vtecj DS6771-3 just to use the headset. First thing the headset is not making any noise after sitting on charges for two days. And next will the headset work with out using the buletooth? I do not want it for Bluetooth.
