Will this printer work with Windows 10? Has anyone found cheap ink cartridges? Does this printer have 2 cartridges one for black ink, one color?
Yes, the printer is compatible with Windows 10, the printer does use two ink cartridges, one for color and one for black. I do not have any information on cheap ink cartridges.

can resolution dpi of 4800x2400 be changed to dpi 2400x1200 so that we use less ink?
Yes, you can decrease the print resolution.
