I currently have a Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router (R8000). How much better will this extender make the router? Or is this over kill? I have my router on the middle floor(home is three stories). Do I also place this on the middle floor?
This extender is for use where people have dead zones or the WiFi is very slow because of the distance to the router. This unit is place between the router and the dead zone to boost the WiFi signal.
