What is the difference between the two? Also, are the channels the same on motorola walkie talkies so that i can have a different model and still talk to my friends?

Will it control my pc hooked to a tv from another room?

If I were to connect my PC to my HDTV by HDMI cable (they are 2 rooms away from each other), would this remote let me control the pc from that distance? There are several walls and no direct line of sight between the tv & pc. I would need to run about 40 ft of HDMI cable between those rooms. I simply want to view videos that are on my pc, but on my tv in the other room. I just have no way of controlling the pc from that room.

This product is for television use. It does not work with a computer.

Will tha work on a 5 year old dall and a new dell?? I was told by one of Bestbuys employees that it would not work on both !!! Which I find hard to believe.....
