I'd like to watch mp4 or WMV (etc.) in 1080p, or at the least 720p, through a flash drive or external hard drive via the USB port on this model. Is that possible? Thanks ahead of time.

The USB port on this TV can be used to view JPEG images only. It is not compatible with video files.

does this work on the pc flawlessly?

Wondering as I had bought ear force tangos from turtle beach late last year and despite them saying it would work it was plagued with issues.

Your computer must be equipped with a Dolby Digital Live sound card in order to get surround sound through the Turtle Beach Elite 800. It will work on a Windows or Mac OSX, but if your computer does not have a DDL sound card using a digital optical S/PDIF output, you will just get enhanced stereo audio and not surround sound.
