Really good sound and setup was quite easy. I ended up returning this product for a higher class one but only because I needed something with higher pre-amp. Otherwise, if you are just building out a sound system, this is a great starter!

The product worked fine and a very cool concept from Microsoft. I could definitely see this product overtaking the PC laptop market. However, Microsoft needs to fix two things: software/hardware should have little to no bugs. I often encountered sometimes the base not detaching or lag in performance. This should not happen on a $2500+ priced laptop. Also, no quad core processor? For paying this much money, I definitely expect better specs.

Some of the codes that the Xbox give doesn't work. You just have to troubleshoot and be sure you find the right one for the IR cords to work

Can't recommend this television more highly enough. Great color, contrast, and features. Smart TV is a great feature to have as well. Size is perfect for a bedroom; not too big to overcorwd your room but not too small where its not as enjoyable as your living room TV. If you're getting a 4K TV and have extra money, definitely go with the higher models as in sure the features and quality only become better. Otherwise, this one is a great value. Doesn't feel cheap.

Great tv. Very slim given the price point. Everything looks great! Only downside (thus the four star rather than five) is that sometimes the shadows can be muddled and have a blue-ish hue sometimes. Not sure if that's because of whatever I'm watching or if how the tv renders it. Regardless, at this price point, it's a highly recommended buy. Especially if you use this is a second monitor or for gaming

Enjoy high-quality video with this Samsung UHD TV. The 4K Ultra HD resolution delivers a sharp picture, and a quad-core processor provides fast content loading. The KU6300 comes with a "video adapter" which this one doesn't. What will I be missing out on if I go with the KU6290?

The 6290 does come with the splitters that attach to the back. Basically these cords give you an RCA input and Component input.

Are the USB ports video capable?

If by you mean charging your Chromecast or other USB powered HDMI devices, then yes. Other than that, the USB interface to view photos is meh. Then again, it's probably easier to buy a chromecast and just cast your photos to the screen.

Can I use the Samsung remote from my 46" for the 6300 model?

Not too sure, you might be able to if it was considered a Samsung Universal remote.

You can't be missing out on that much? Most things connect via HDMI nowadays. But what you're referring to is the AV jacks. Samsung decided to get rid of your typical RCA and Component ports and replace them with those splitters. I think it's convenient because it gets rid of all those extra plugs. BUT to answer your question, the 6290 should come with these as mine did when I bought it.
