Fun drive. Exactly as described. Very clever design, and encourages you put LEGO bricks at your work desk. I would highly recommend if you need a cheap flash drive to play around with. Not a performance flash drive.

Definitely recommend if you are looking for a simple way to ditch the HDMI cord and stream straight to your television. Easy setup. Very little lag, if any at all. Also, it does power itself if you plug it via USB into the tv so you can ditch the power cord.

The KU6300 comes with a "video adapter" which this one doesn't. What will I be missing out on if I go with the KU6290?

The 6290 does come with the splitters that attach to the back. Basically these cords give you an RCA input and Component input.

Are the USB ports video capable?

If by you mean charging your Chromecast or other USB powered HDMI devices, then yes. Other than that, the USB interface to view photos is meh. Then again, it's probably easier to buy a chromecast and just cast your photos to the screen.

Can I use the Samsung remote from my 46" for the 6300 model?

Not too sure, you might be able to if it was considered a Samsung Universal remote.

You can't be missing out on that much? Most things connect via HDMI nowadays. But what you're referring to is the AV jacks. Samsung decided to get rid of your typical RCA and Component ports and replace them with those splitters. I think it's convenient because it gets rid of all those extra plugs. BUT to answer your question, the 6290 should come with these as mine did when I bought it.

What year and date manufactured? and Model Year?

This is the 2016 model. And yes, it does have HDR

Technically no for the initial setup. But it is nice to have if you have an Android phone or if you use Google Chrome as your browser.
