Can I use the Roku box with this TV?

Best Answer

Due to the nature of the cross compatible connectors (HDMI, Composite(RCA yellow/red/white), Component(red/green/blue), Optical), you will be more than able to connect any device that offers the aforementioned connections to the Samsung TVs, regardless of manufacturer. Unfortunately, since I do not know all of the connections offered by all of the different devices on the market, you will have to refer to your devices’ manual to find out which connection is best to use with this Samsung TV. There are no special converters required. Aforementioned Cables will be required for normal operation.

For your reference, the UN32EH4003 offers the following connections:

HDMI 2
Component 1
Composite (AV) 1
USB 2.0 1
RF In 1

Does the phone come with earphones?

Just wondering if this smartphone comes with earphones since it does not show under "what's in the box". I know that at Sprint store it does.

Although I cannot guarantee that it will indeed come with the phone (since I do not have access to Best Buy's inventory system), the SGS3 should come with headphones/mic.

How to hook up the tv to a sound bar, home theater system, or computer speakers?

Regarding home theaters: Is the only way to get sound from the tv into a external system through the red/white audio out cables?

Regarding Computer Speakers: I haven't bought a home theater system, I've only tried computer speakers (with a 3.5mm headphone jack) into the tv, and it didn't work. Is there a converter I need for this if I still wanted to go the computer speaker route?

Although the speaker system on the Samsung TVs offers rich and clear audio quality, I can understand the desire to have a higher fidelity audio experience. To do so, I would recommend that you acquire an A/V receiver or SoundBar and connect the audio from your broadcast devices directly to the audio device, since there are no audio outputs on the UN32EH4003.

Input?

Does this system not have any sort of inputs except for audio? So you can not use the surround sound with video game systems? No HDMI in? Can't use the surround sound with my roku player? Or would I be able to have the video cable go to my TV from the Roku; and have the two audio cables go from Roku to the Blu-ray player while Blu-ray player would go HDMI to my TV?

This model has audio inputs with an AUX-In (RCA) and a digital optical audio input.

If that's not enough inputs for what you need, Samsung does make models that have more inputs, however, they will be higher models and priced slightly higher.

For instance, the HT-E5500 has 2 HDMI-Inputs that you can use for Roku or the Blu-Ray player. Maybe that might be a better model to check out if you want some HDMI inputs.
