Will I need a power converter in the Philippines?
The Philippines is on the NTSC standard. However, most housing units will have 220v power. Will I need to use a power converter for this (or any other Samsung LED) TV? I saw the answers to other questions on broadcast and power compatibility but those were for countries that are on PAL. I am hoping that Samsung TVs have 100v - 240v capability.
All UN, PN and LN units (North American Units) will only have support for NTSC/ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and NA power systems. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal or Non-NA voltages, you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend a specific converter since Samsung cannot offer support for products we do not manufacture.
