How important is the refresh rate on a 40" LCD set. most appear to only 60Hz capability.
The Hz of an image is the frequency of the signal that is being sent to the TV. Although in this case, the term also refers to the frames per second the image is displayed at. A 60Hz image is shown at 60 FPS, and a 120Hz image is shown at 120 FPS. The more frames per second, the smoother the motion (especially for fast action sports or movies) and the more of the signal you will see.

what,s the differance between the pn58c8000 & the 'new' pn58c680? thnx
Although both the pn58c8000 and pn58c680 are 3D Plasma TVs, the pn58c8000 offers an ultra slim profile, Internet@TV, and a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 7,000,000:1; while the C680 offers a standard width and a Dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1.

how is this unit different than BDC65000XAA? Alsodoes it have an ethernet port?
I'm sorry for the confusion. These two models are actually the same units. The last few characters in the model number are used by Samsung for shipping and tracking purposes mainly and are sometimes used by retailers to better track their own inventory. Very rarely do these characters mean that the units offer different features or sizes. Also the C6500 does offer a ethernet port for hard wiring the unit.

Is this one capable of Hulu?
Hulus site just says BD-C6900, but there are two models with that model number, this one is less pricey, so want to know if it is capable of Hulu.
There should be no difference between the BD-C6900's. In this case, I believe that the confusion stems from this particular model stating it is refurbished; however, this BD-C6900 will have all the same features as the new in box BD-C6900s offer.
