I'm concerned about internet related content

This comes with a wifi feature...I'm concerned about the posibility of unattended family members accessing inappropriate adult content. Is the internet feature limited to certain programs like facebook and youtube, or does it access everywhere? If so, what can be done to block this capability?

As with all other Samsung Blu-Ray players, all of the internet content can only be accessed through the Samsung Apps eco-system. This means that the content is accessed through apps like Netflix, Pandora, YouTube and Facebook.

Does this come with a charger? It does not say under "whats included"

Yes, a AC power adapter AND a car charger is included with this model.

Other things that are included, besides the player itself, is an AV cable, user manual, a quick-guide, a battery pack, earphones, a Y-connector for dual earphones, a soft cloth (for cleaning) and a carrying case.

To record tv programs what part or connector will I need?

I have the Toshiba 1080p upconversion

will I be able to download apps like BBC, NPR from Samsung app store?

At this time of this posting, the BBC and NPR apps are not available on this specific model.

However, that doesn't mean that these organizations aren't in the process of writing a map, although I'm not able to confirm for either company on their behalf.

These apps are subject to change, and new Apps may be available at any time.

What power input does this TV need?

I would like to buy ths TV to use overseas. Specifically I would need it to be able to run on 240V.

All UN, PN and LN units (North American Units) will only have support for NTSC/ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and NA power systems. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal or Non-NA voltages, you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend a specific converter since Samsung cannot offer support for products we do not manufacture.

Does this play PAL-format (region 2) DVDS?

If you purchase the unit within the US, it will only have support for All Region and Region 1 DVDs ("All Region" DVDs refers to DVDs that are marked as region 0 or "Region All". This does not mean the player can play every regions’ DVDs), and Region "A" Blu-Rays. However, these units will only have the ability to work on US power grids.

Will it play movies off of my hard drive in other formats like MP4, WMV, etc through USB Port?

Can my hard drive be in NTSC format or does it have to be in FAT32?

Although the BD-C6800 will be able to play AVI, MP4 and WMV video formats from a USB device, in order to access content from a USB device, the device in question must meet all of the following requirements:

1. It must offer a Mass Storage Mode
2. It must be formatted in a FAT file system
3. It must not contain any DRM content. DRM content is not supported by the Samsung TVs
