What to buy?

What is the difference between the B and C series?
There are several differences between last years "B" series and this year's "C" series. The main ones are: An the higher dynamic contrast ratio, AllShare feature (allows you to connect directly to your PC or other DLNA enabled device through a router for media file streaming) and the ConnectShare Movie feature (allows you to connect a USB device to your TV to access media files), Many of these features were not available on the lower end "B" series units, but are available on the lower end "C" units.

What is the difference in model numbers LN40B530P7FXZA and LN40B530P7N ?

I'm sorry for the confusion. These two models are actually the same units. The last few characters in the model number are used by Samsung for shipping and tracking purposes mainly and are sometimes used by retailers to better track their own inventory. Very rarely do these characters mean that the units offer different features or sizes.

Does this TV have a non-reflective viewing surface? It will be placed in a sun-filled room.

As a matter of fact, the LN40B530 does offer a matte like panel finish that, although does not produce the same rich colors as the glossy Ultra Clear Panel panels, does offer anti-reflective properties.

When turning on. TV makes clicking sound for about 5 minutes. Then goes on with red verticle stripes in the picture. Back off then on ok.

I’m sorry you are having an issue with your device. Although with the information you have provided I do not have a solution for you; I will say that if you contact your local Best Buy's Geek Squad or 800-SAMSUNG, they should be able to provide you with a live solution.

What does game mode do?

im looking to buy this tv primarily for gaming on 360. can you tell a difference when using game mode and not using it? and what exactly does it do?
Game Mode bypasses some of the TVs processors to give you an almost direct feed from your game system. This will help in the time it takes the signal to travel from the game system to the panel, effectively reducing the time between when you press your action button to when you see the action displayed on the screen, making for more accurate responses.

Does the LN46B610 have picture in picture?

The B610 does not offer the PiP feature. For a unit that does, please have a look at the B630 and higher models in a 40" and larger size.

Difference between LN40B530 and LN40B540

What is the difference between the LN40B530 and the LN40B540 models? Which do you recommend?
Although both of these units offer similar picture quality. The B540 will offer USB2.0 for mp3 and photo playback from a USB device and one additional component input along the rear of the unit. The B540 is also a Warehouse Club exclusive.

where to plug in wireless headphones?

Can I plug in wireless headphones and where do I plug them in?
Thanks for the question. Although the Samsung TVs do not offer any wireless standards to connect a wireless pair of headphones, if you headphone's base station offers RCA or Optical inputs, you will want to connect those to the TV's audio outputs (they will be along the rear of the unit, and will either be an RCA jack pair or an optical output jack).
