Sennheiser - Binaural Over-the-Ear Headphone - Black
The RS 160 is a two-part headphone system, powered by a couple of NiMH batteries and a transmitter that connects to your output device. It's very simple to set up as the whole system is plug and play. This compact and portable transmitter utilizes Kleer's uncompressed digital wireless audio transmission. Adapter for amplifier
The head set does not fit the headphone plug on my amplifier unit. Is there some sort of adapter available to make the headset go from 1.8" to the size needed to fit the amp?

I go through headphones pretty fast. I don't know why, but the left ear goes out first and the only way to get any sound out of them is to hold the headphone jack in the right spot. Will these headphones do that?

not working
hi there my cx 300 sennheiser is not working on the left side. i just used it couple of months. i love its sounds specially the bass. but for no reason it just happend. pls help me i love sennheiser. maybe if i can return it and use my credit im going to upgrade my headphone for the same brand.

For an avid listener who wants a good listening experience...
Would you recommend these or another headphone? I like to utilize portability, such as folding away for storage (which this set has), replaceable cables (again, something this has), and easy to carry around. I have heard that this headset creates a more real sound, but my question is will it have enough depth in the sounds that it will fulfill my expectations? Some have directed me to the 428's or the 448's, even the 518's, but I am really unsure as to which to get. Also, is the impedence something to be worried about? This set has 64 ohms, which I worry might be a little bit too much for my iPod to handle. Will it drastically reduce battery life, or is it nothing to really worry about?
Hello- The HD 280 was designed for studio applications where the most natural, accurate sound is in highest demand. That need has translated to mainstream consumers and audiophiles who seek to hear their music with greater fidelity and accuracy. The HD 280, for those reasons, is a best-seller. The 64 ohm impedance is fairly low, I would not expect any suffering of performance from an iPod.

Is the cable for these headphones detachable (and replaceable)? If not, could someone recommend a pair that has a detachable cable?

What is the 1/4" adapter? What is it used for?
Most A/V receivers and pro audio equipment have a 1/4" (6.3mm) headphone plug on them. The adapter lets you convert the 1/8" plug into a larger 1/4" plug.

Do they fit comfortably around your neck?
I really want a pair of good headphones that have great sound quality, and also are able to be worn around your neck for easy and quick storage. Do these fit well and comfortably around the neck?
